Adidas Presents Adizero: Road to Records. All Elite field.

Announcement: On Sunday, September 12, the ADIZERO: ROAD TO RECORDS event will take place at adidas’ campus headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany. It will see more than 80 world class adidas athletes race over 5k, 10k and half-marathon distances, in a bid to set new personal bests.

Athletes, including 10k world record holder Rhonex Kipruto, two-time 5k world champion Muktar Edris, World Cross Country Championships 5k silver medallist Senbere Teferi, and two-time World Athletics Championship 10k bronze medallist Agnes Jebet Tirop are all set to take to the course.

Also joining as a guest on Sunday is Kenyan long-distance runner, Peres Jepchirchir, who recently stormed to victory in the marathon at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Games while wearing ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 2, and currently holds the Women's Only Half Marathon world record.

The racing will start at 7am CET, and will be broadcast live on the adidas running YouTube channel (insert link here), where viewers will have the opportunity to follow the event and athletes every step of the way. Athletes will compete on a specially designed course around the campus, and will be wearing the latest iteration of adidas’ record-breaking ADIZERO running franchise – the ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 2 – alongside an unreleased ADIZERO running silhouette, which is set to launch later this year. Soon, the world's fastest course could be in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

To celebrate the event and the launch of the ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 2, we will be hosting an employee race on the Sunday.

In addition, adidas members will have the opportunity to enter a competition to win a pair of ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 2. To be in with a chance, members can apply by predicting the winner’s finishing time in the Women's 5k race. More details on how to apply can be found here Registration will be open on Saturday 11th September at 9am CET.
