#TILBURGTENMILES:WILL T.DIBABA ATTEMPT WORLDRECORD ON 10K ROAD?

Tirunesh Dibaba ended with ZurichDL her track season and now she is ready to start again with road season.
She choosed Tilburg in Holland for a tremendous goal:to attempt WR on 10k of Paula Radcliffe who ran 30:21 in 2003 in PuertoRico. It will be also in danger course-record of Joyce Chepkirui (Ken) of 30:38 ran in 2011 in Tilburg.
For Dibaba roadracing will be a new object in her career and she looked happy about this and declared: " I enjoy running on road more as it's more relaxed and there is distraction during the race sometimes ".
The best contender against Tirunesh Dibaba will be kenyan Isabella Ochichi, the second fastest woman on road with an impressive PB of 30:27 and finally back with a good shape.
Younger ethiopian Genet Yalew with 14:48 on 5000m as PB who already ran here in 2010.
For european it will be very interesting to look at british Lauren Howarth a growing talent 6th placed in euroindoors on 3000m in Goteborg.
Tirunesh Dibaba will be helped in her attempt by belgian Veerle Dejaeghere in first 2k and then from kenyan Ester Chemtai to try a time around 15.05 at intermediate time of 5k.

With PB of 46:07 and 46:29 ran in Tilburg in 2012,two eritreans Tsegay Tuemay and Ghirmay Ghebrselassie could be considered the favourites for 10miles distance where Haile ran the wolrd record here in 2005 in a fantastic 44:24.
These two promising guys will be challenged by kenyan Vincent Yator and quite unknown Stephen Nkubitu who recently won a road race in Germany and shoulb be considered in a good shape.
British Phil Wicks and dutch Abdi Nagassa will be the top from europeans.
Curious to see debut in Tilburg for marathoner Wilson Chebet from Kenya, former winner of Amsterdam and Rotterdam Marathons:he will probably test his shape while training for an autumn marathon.
In the top field we will not absolutely forget other kenyan Peter Kamais,a marathoner of 2h07 but  winner of NYHalf in 2010 in a very solid 59:53.

UPDATE ON MEN-RACE:
(quote received by a race organizer)

"For the man watch: Peter Kamais, he run the 6th time ever over 10km in 2009 here in Tilburg when we had a 10km 27.09, then Wilson Chebet big man in marathon but also 59.15 for half and he crossed 41.33 one time over 15km during half marathon, then also Tsegay Tuemay the Eritrean, he has trained the last 3 months specially for this event and should also be capable to run 45min over 10em, and I believe that will be necessary to win the race"
