Good Morning from press-room of GreatEdinburghXc.
I am these to follow this incredibile cross country with videos and photos when it will be' possibile.
Just saw The Great Winter Run..a road race of thousand of people around Arthur's Seat ..
Impressive to see so many people moving iin hoolyrood Park so will organized..
A guy named Shaun the Winter in 17.36.. I think a good time on this course!!
10 minutes and the first race will start...junior men..
It is a check ed race by Usa Estevan DeLarosa till an impressive kick from croatian Bosniak Who won in an impressive kick last 400m in front of belgian Kimeli and usa Nowak.
I liked very much see the american guy running...very easy and promising..
As told the Britton armada was unbeatable and Emelia Gorecka was the chief with a very strong action who let her to kill the rAce..absolutely amazing!!
Behind her i liked very much Jessica Judd Who,even if,specialist of short distances, run very very strong today.Impressive all the britishes..who finished in first five places.
Short course women:
She was one of the favourites but not the top...i am speaking about Genzebe Dibaba!!!..she controller Lineth Masai (good race by her) and in last lap pushed hard to go away..
Solid race by Meseret Defar but against such a stellar Dibaba was impossible do better!!
Not a good day for Vivian Cheruyot..maybe too short distance for her at the beginning.
What a race by Bobby Mack!!after second place last year,he came back to try to do the best and he did it.. English Tom Humphries was the alone leader till the last lap till an impressive move of Lamdassem..but not enough against the return of Mack who caught him in last meters...absolutely fantastic!!..well done also for Andy Vernon..not so good Sergey Lebid and far from best shape bashir and Chahdi .
Britton show As announced...incredibile and amazing...16sec over Adrienne Herzog and 20 over american Suver!!british Coulson started fast and paid a little at the end...still very promising!!
Here some interviews i have recorded today in Edinburgh
