ABOUT BERLINMARATHON..SOME NEWS..

In one of my recent post,i published the mediaguide of BerlinMarathon, something very interesting to read and able to let you know an important majors-marathon as better as possible..
But,on the web,i have read something very curious about BerlinMarathon top runners...
Nobody speaks about Pacemakers:one tweet this morning annouces they will be 26 pacemakers in men-race!!
Browsing around blogs,i also read there will not be any official pacemakers in women-race and the top will probably have their personal one.
Instead,in men-race will be different...four groups of pacing:World Record the first...2h07 the second...2h09'30 the third...and 2h12 the fourth!!
Many guys will try to reach olympics by this race so this organization will be fantastic for them!!

70 men with pb under 2h25 and 40 women with pb under 2h50..

Names you can do the preview by yourself reading the media-guide:Gebre against Makau in men and Radcliffe against Mikitenko in women the probably to duels!!!!
I personally saw Mikitenko training in august in Engadina, very concentrated since those days,Makau will run with 3 pacemakers of his group:unfortunately russian Yulmanova is out!!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!

DAEGU...LAST DAY...HIGHLIGHTS

What a last day today in Daegu!!!
I have seen many good races and had fun!!
My best emotion:Mo Farah won 5k against an incredibile Bernard Lagat!!2'27 last km says us how strong thay had finished.Mo has teached by mistakes of 10k and started a little bit later in the sprint.Nobody, neither kenyan nor ethiopian can beat two these guys this year!!An amazing show!!!
800m women...what can u say after these superb times....the podium really incredible fast with times unpredictable before the race!!Really surprised from Savinova and Semenya:Jepkosgei was the first normal at the finish line!!Hope to russian and soutafrican in next races till the end of season if they will be to confirm what have donne today in Daegu.
Amazing the marathon with an astonishing Abel kirui to win the medal again. In second half he had run 3 minutes faster than the first one and these will be effects of new coach:italian Renato Canova.
My personal compliments and congrats to italian Ruggero Pertile able to start slow but finishing very strong in 8th position:one guy who understand the race better than anyone and the results are speaking to him:a good job Rero!!!
This is the final race of the day but probably one of the great in all WC in Daegu.Jamaicans did everything in better way and they run  a shocking 37"04 new WR!!Heard someone speaking about Asafa Powell inside to run under 37":i am not agree because these guys, running together more times will be able to do it by themselves!!!Usain in last have pushed totally and the gap is became without finish..The younng french team catch the silver and St.Kitts and Nevis an unhoped bronze.
Some troubles between americans and british:Harry Aikines with muscles too big catched the third american and going down both creating also troubles to the fast train of Trinidad seemed very fast in the winning-heat

ASBEL KIPROP...FINALLY ON 1500M IN DAEGU

I was waiting for this day, waiting for an important race dominated from Asbel Kiprop, one of my preferred athletes nowdays. This guy has an incredible talent and it's very pleasant see him finally become a real champ and stop to make some bad mistakes as recently.
Tactically a slow race till 800m with kiwi Willis to lead the group in 60"02 at 400m and 2'01"71 (61"69) at 800m.After this moment Kenyans arrive in front of group keeping faster the run (55"30 third lap).In last lap,300m to run, first explosion with Silas Kiplagat to try very hard and Asbel Kiprop behind him.In my opinion Asbel has won the race at 1250m when able to not be closed by Kiplagat and go ahead of him starting his long long sprint of 200m very difficult to check Silas Kiplagat.Bronze medal to the young american Mathew Centrowitz:another guy who will be a star in next years.

Too much serious this guy and very professional:it's a great pleasure to hear him speak about his mistakes and to try to do his best after understood them..i appreciate it!!Sometimes it happened he lose himself in the middle of the race, losing important positions and than becoming difficult to close the gap.Today nothing like this:as he said on IAAF site,he staied all the race nearly the front so being ready to push in last lap.
For this guy,one of the few olympic and world champ in the history and managed by italian Federico Rosa now it's the time to think to Zurich DL next week but also to relax. The next goal is coming:London Olympics Games and i am sure he will become stronger than now to compete in better shape possible next year!Since for now,by words we can understand how much is focused on what he has to do in future!!..compliments again Asbel!!

LILLE HALFAMARATHON....OFFICIAL RESULTS

I have found the official results of Lille Halfmarathon and i want to share them... HERE you can find the complete one!!
As you can read,a very fast race with good times.
In women race many new-names!!Personally i am happy for my friend Richard Sigei!!

VIVIAN CHERUYOT..THE QUEEN OF DAEGU

Daegu World Champs are going to the end but today i want to speak about a girl who should be written as "The Queen of Daegu", the kenyan Vivian Cheruyot winner of two gold medals as 10k and 5k today.
For this 28 years old girl from Keyio is the third world title after the one in Berlin in 2009.
Today she run very intelligent, waiting the last lap to make her progression
In this video of Kenyan-tv you can see the highlights of the race and her last lap run in an incredible 58"68 to leave behind her team-mate Silvia Kibet and ethiopian Meseret Defar not so in good shape in this champs.
It was a strange race run very slowly with kenyans to wait the other girls:amazing in my opnion the job done today by Linet Masai. Masai ha run tactically unbeatble and one medal for her it could have been a great thing.Very beatiful see her running near her training-mate Cheruyot..so elegant!!
For Vivian Cheruyot is the second medal won against Defar with the same tactic:all in last lap done at an incredible speed:in Berlin in 2009 Cheruyot won in same way in faster 58"62 last lap:
If i don't make a mistake...the same podium after two years!!fantastic!!!
I have interviewed Vivian this winter in her only italian race (HERE is it on my youtube-channel) and she seemed a very simply girl but also incredibly strong and sure of herself!
Her happiness comes also from her words today in mixed zone and it's very pleasant to hear her:
She speaks about an incredible year...yes that's true!!she won World cross country champs....she run 14'20"87 at the endy of July in Stockholm and now these two fantastic korean medals.By her words we discover her last race of the season will be Zurich 5k next week:(HERE the provvisionale startinglist of 5000m zurich 2011)...it will be the revenge of Daegu with everyone inside:an amazing cast...a very good time will come out, probably not the world record,in my opinion absolutely in Vivian's legs!!
But i am sure "Queen of Daegu" will be ready to be also "Queen of the year!
