THROWS:MY PERSONAL PREVIEW FOR DAEGU

THROWS:MY PERSONAL PREVIEW FOR DAEGU
Thanks to friends inside italian-throws,i am able to produce my personal preview of these races and trying to make my predictions.

MEN:
SHOT PUT:
It will be a battle between 3 americans Nelson,Hoffa and Cantwell with this last one a little up than the others.Recently belarus Mikhnevich made 22m at the beginning of August and some other good measures in last races.Mikhnevich will be considered also because he launches in translocation and so he will obtain sure results. The young german Storl will be the surprise:very strong guy but too young for this kind of world race.

DISCUS:
German Robert Harting will be the best in my opinion but Virgilius Alekna is still doing his best recently..so don't forget him!!.Outsider of the race should be American Rome and polish Malachowski.

HAMMER:
Russian Zagornyi made a very high-results season but he will not launch in Daegu (so strange!)..so my best should be hungarian Pars and why not...hoping in italian Vizzoni to make a surprise to all

JAVELIN:
Thorkildsen and we go home...He is able to make good launches in any situations making incredible measures!!Outsider Vasilekskis but difficult to see other winner instead "Norway-flag".

WOMEN:
SHOT PUT:
Not so sure the title to Adams:it will be a great duel between her and belarus Ostapchuk. They will be the only over 20m,quite near 21m,as outsider i predict american Williams.

DISCUS:
Without Perkovic out due to doping, chinese Li will probably win the gold:she got this year 67,98m but she also has a good style of launch. In last month came in good shape german Muller but she must be in the right day to guess a medal.Third place for Cuban Barrios but not so good as the others.

HAMMER:
Anyone can beat german Betty Heidler,a mix of strenght speed and technic!!..on the podium with her russian Lysenko and cuban Moreno.

JAVELIN:
Some years the trio Spotakova,Abakumova and Obergfoll lead the group so it is impossible say others names. These girls, even if in bad day, will lauch always better than others.

LAST TWO MONTHS TRAINING OF FLORENCE KIPLAGAT

Dear Alberto, Personally i started to think to idea to beat WR of halfmarathon at beginning of December, but i spoke about it with Florence only when she came back to Kenya after winning New Delhi HalfMarathon last 15th December. When i asked her if race was hard, she answered me to have controlled till last 3km and to have won easily. So i started to put in her mind idea to try WR in February in a half without highpressure (as RAK for example) keeping so high concetration on quality trainings and putting inside also some crosscountry races(she never ran a cross since her victory in worldchamps 2009 ) such as Eldoret Xc and Police Champs to be focused more con competitions. In last period, the road to Barcellona is went through this quality training-workouts: Tuesday 21st January: 30 km in Moiben (15 going + 15 back) in 1:45:46  (medium speed  3’31”5) Saturday 25th January: 10 x 400m in 1’09” (recover 1’) + 10 x 200 in 32”5 (rec. 1’) + 5 x 400 in 67” (rec. 1’) + 10 x 200 in 31”5 (rec. 1’) with …
